The arrival of an Italian aeronautical industry in Paraguay brings new mobility opportunities

Asunción, Agencia IP.- The Italian Embassy in Paraguay presented the latest in the Italian aeronautical industry under the wings of Tecnam, the main Italian aircraft manufacturer and a benchmark for piston aircraft in the world.

The Italian Ambassador to Paraguay, Marcello Fondi, said that «the arrival of Tecnam can bring significant economic benefits to Paraguay, including job creation, increased tourism, and air connectivity, which will also motivate the development of aeronautical infrastructure.»

He also said that «it can promote the training of new pilots and technicians, contributing to the growth of the local aviation industry. All this is done through state-of-the-art aircraft, reasonable acquisition costs, and the best operating costs on the market.»

Fondi stated that «these proposals are expected to improve national mobility by offering faster and more efficient air transport options, especially in remote regions with limited ground infrastructure. This will facilitate connectivity and access to essential services that will positively impact people’s quality of life.»

Representatives of public and private aeronautical entities, businessmen, and aviation fans packed the Hangar Latitude facilities at the Silvio Pettirossi airport on Thursday to observe proposals aimed at national mobility.

The aircraft exhibition, held at Hangar Latitude at the Silvio Pettirossi airport, included participation from other Italian brands, such as Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, Ducati, and Piaggio.

Five models of Tecnam brand aircraft captured the attention of the public present at the exhibition of the best of the Italian aeronautical industry. The exhibition unveiled the latest developments in national mobility from the main Italian aircraft manufacturer and a benchmark for piston aircraft in the world. The meeting was organized by the Italian Embassy in Paraguay, Winflyer, Aeropar, DHL, DL Brokers, and Wtw.

The models presented were the Tecnam P92, P-Mentor, P2010 TDI diesel, P2006, and P2012. These aircraft will be available for a variety of services in Paraguay: pilot training, tourist flights, private transport, surveillance and reconnaissance missions, and scheduled flights on conventional or charter airlines.

Tecnam has plans to introduce several models and services in the short and medium term, adapting to the needs of the Paraguayan market and ensuring that its products continue to be leaders in innovation and efficiency.
